Mrs. Bedell served for five years as Treasurer of Textbooks Africa, a nonprofit dedicated to inspiring African children by providing textbooks, library books, computers, and school supplies. She also served for four years on the board of the S. T. Nagbe UMC Distant Members Fellowship (STNDMF), a nonprofit committed to discipleship and community welfare, where she now continues to contribute as Chairperson of the Program Committee.
Ms. Araminta Dixon-Summerville serves as an administrator in the financial sector and is deeply committed to community empowerment. She believes that when a child or woman is equipped through education and business, an entire community—and future generations—gain the resilience to thrive.
